When the book was delivered, I read it from cover to cover. It reminded me of how I learned to sew. In high school. At 14. In Home Ec. Looooong time ago!! Techniques I had learned long before Fast Sewing began. It even shows how to straighten the grain in your fabric!!!! It's all about the techniques; slow, careful sewing; focusing on fit and customization of your patterns. Yep, it's slower, but, OH, the look!
