This does not belong in an elementary school library, which is where my 6 year old son found it. The book has real photos of dead people at the crime scene, killed by multiple ax wounds, an illustration of blood spatter out of the back of Abraham Lincoln's head, descriptive words like "whack, whack!" describing the act of killing someone, and a story about suicide that had my son asking about how it is possible to kill oneself with a gun. I don't understand why someone would write a book like this geared toward children...the language is about 2nd grade level. I will address the matter with his school, but in general, it is in poor taste.
