From 1969 to 1994, Cosimo Ceccuti has been Giovanni Spadolini's closest contributor in the historic and cultural field. He was indicated in Spadolini's testament as general secretary for life and cultural coordinator of the activities of the Fondazione Spadolini Nuova Antologia, which he created in 1980.
