I understand that this book was written with glass painters in mind, but I have found it to be a wonderful resource for several crafts. The drawings are clear, concise, and scan beautifully for enlargement or reduction. The technique instructions were brief, but surprisingly complete. The designs run the gammut from simple to ornate, humerous to mythical, and everything in between. If I only had one design book to suggest to a beginning crafter this would be it.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHORS

When we were approached to put together the Glass Painter's Motif Library it gave us a great opportunity to answer one of our most asked questions - "What shall I paint?" Well you now need to look no further. This book really has something for everyone - something simple to something much harder. It really is very easy to find a design again too as the index to the book is very comprehensive and enables you to find a design quickly. This book is suitable for anyone that needs a design - whether it be a woodworker or a cross stitcher and of course a glass painter or two may also find it very useful - ENJOY.
