Common Sense Reminder

This book is a great little reminder of the common sense things you should do in a marriage, plus some things you just haven't thought about before. This book is a cross between the styles of "Life's Little Instruction Book" and "His Needs/Her Needs". You get 52 little commentaries by Bruce and Stan ranging from such topics as communication to recreation, in-laws to work, spiritual growth to growing old together. Throughout the whole book, though, it reminds us that a marriage is a 3 way relationship between husband, wife, and God (you know, the One who created marriage in the first place). Recommended for anyone thinking about getting married, in a comfort zone in your marriage, or looking for something that will keep you in your marriage (hopefully you aren't to this point). Reminds you of the little things that got you interested in your spouse in the first place. The things you did for him or her that were in their best interest and showed them that you not only love, but cherish them. It's the small stuff that chips away at or builds up a relationship. Definite reread, over and over!
