A humorous book written by the author of "The Illustrated History of Rock Music", "The Movies from 1930 to the Present" and "The Uncyclopedia of Rock". This description may be from another edition of this product.
I wish I could remember to whom I lent my copy all those years ago. The laughs start with the practicalities of Genesis (six days of hard works and brilliant improvisation and just plain running out of supplies last minute) thru to present day organized religion being just a little too arrogant and wide of the intended mark. This book was never really irreverent - partly because of it's dry, Python-esque, humor and basis for the woes of the world being the fault of humans misinterpreting or perverting God's initial ideas. Miracles are easy when you're God but people are little less predictable. Maybe it helps to be raised with a strong religious affect on your life to get the most from it. This is a very funny, memorable, read

This is one of the best books I've ever read. It turns something that can be so serious as God into light-hearted, spirited (no pun intended) jest. I laughed out loud from the beginning to end, and somewhere in between.
One of the best books I have read

I read this book about 10 years back. It has remained in my memory for a long time now. It was double treat with God: The ultimate Autobiography occupying half the space and Hiss and tell memoirs the rest. Its sheer poetry in satire-writing. One of the best I have read. Ranks alongside best comic books of yore. Wish it comes back to life(print).
God: The Ultimate Autobiography

I read this book years ago and have purchased every copy I've run across. I've, unfortunately, been trusting and loaned out my only copy. Each time. I will not do so again. I'd recommend it to anyone needing a great laugh!
Excellent Book--should be back in print

I love this book! It is a hillarious spoof on biblical facts, written in such a way so as not to offend anyone.
