International hit by the creator of Angel Sanctuary Deep in the heart of 19th century London, a young nobleman named Cain walks the shadowy cobblestone streets of the aristocratic society into which he was born. Forced to become an earl upon the untimely death of his father, Cain assumes the role of head of the Hargreaves, a noble family with a dark past. With Riff, his faithful manservant, and Mary Weather, his 10-year-old half sister, Cain investigates the mysterious crimes that seem to follow him wherever he goes. Missing boys and a strange little girl who shouldn't exist usher us into the fourth volume of Godchild, where we learn more about Dr. Disraeli and his complicated connection to Cain's father and the secret society of DELILAH.
I love Godchild. I mean to me its up there with Mars and all my other favorite manga. The artwork is beautiful, the story dark and suspenseful and the characters interesting and well fleshed out. The only part that I don't like about volume four is the big blurb that says its explicit and the packaging on it. Why? Because although Godchild is violent and at times graphic its not that graphic. But besides that I have to say that this series is great and I would highly reccomend it.
