Loved this book, can't find enough time to make some of the wonderful things listed in here, due to my 8 hour job, swimming lessons for my twins, and a few college courses. But know it is waiting and willing when I find time.
Delicious !

The book is well organized and the instructions are clear with step-by-step illustration. The measurements are accurate and it always looks like the picture. I would say the decoration of the dishes is a bit old fashioned (80s style), but you can always add your own touch. I really like the idea of having all the pictures in the beginning and the recipes after that. The recipes are so delicious and everything I tried was great. The party stuffed chicken is a top request on every occasion. This is a very good book, however, if you already have The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook, I do not think you should get this one, because most of the recipes are the same -or very similar. But if this is your first Good Housekeeping Cookbook, then it is highly recommended.
A good start.

I got this book when I moved into my first apartment alone. A great start to basic cooking information and recipes.
