Quick and easy read. It covers the foundational truth of how God sees us. Helps to shed the guilt of not being as "religious" as many in the church are made to feel they should be. As believers we strive way too much. It's HIM, it's HIM, it's HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

After being in active ministry for over 25 years, I am and still may be hesitant to accept some of Mr. McVey's views. But he (or better yet, the Spirit of the Living God) has caused, by this book, many of the "down days" and "Christian drudgery" to "make sense". For all my Christian life, I have heard of "Grace" and accepted it biblically, to the point of naming my daughter it. But, I can't say I've always lived it. Mr. McVey challenges the very principles that I have held so dearly. I hate to admit to being a legalist, but I have gravitated that direction, maybe not ever so slowly. In many ways and on many levels, reading his book is akin to a rebirth. READ it. It will challenge you and cause you to reassess your standing with God. I am convinced that this book is another instrument of God to bring me back to Him. I suppose that I am not the only one to feel that way. An important read!

This is a wonderful book, well worth the time; I would also recommend John Ortberg's "Love Beyond Reason," which also does a wonderful job attempting to explain the unexplainable, indescribable nature of God.... that He cares for us and offers us everything He is, in spite of ourselves.

If you are trying to understand the awesomeness of God's Grace this book will point you in the right direction. Steve McVey has hit the traget when it comes to explaining God's Grace and how to walk and live in it. I recommend not only this Title but also Grace Walk and Grace Rules. Steve McVey backs all he says in these books by God's Word. GREAT READING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
