Growing with God: Journaling through Agape Love

The greatest commandment is to love. Not to love when and how we want to love but to love others as Christ loves us, to love others with the same unconditional love that God has bestowed unto us. As easy as that seems, it can often be one of the hardest commandments to consistently keep. It is not because we are not nice people or because we don't care about people, but we often place limitations and conditions on our love without realizing it. We find ourselves practicing convenient love or providing reciprocal love.If this is an area that you can be honest with yourself and admit that you struggle, this journal should be a great resource to help you understand how to take the limitations and conditions off of the love that you give. The goal is to love everyone with the fullness of Christ and bountifulness that God expects. Each day you are encouraged to write a short entry based on one of the writing prompts at the beginning of the week. If you don't feel like answering those questions, feel free to write from your heart but be aware that this is not a personal journal rather a spiritual journal. It is a place for you to share your questions, observations, and thoughts about your relationship with God, your attempt to live like Christ, and the move of the Holy Spirit in your life.
