In Denmark in 1336 A.D, the people of the realm of Greenland sense the wisp of treachery, craftiness, and ambitious coming to rule them, but they stand their ground making sure that the wisp doesn't have its way. But when King Alexander dies and makes his only daughter and child, Princess Margrethe his successor and imploring his half-brother Count Gustav to guide and advise her when confronting the task of ruling Greenland and then pass away, the count sees it as an invitation to claim his long awaiting opportunity. He commences maltreating the queen to insert fear into her and rule through her, poisoning the people of Greenland with his venom of tyrant.
