The story, "Shaadhi Abhi Naahi," which when translated from Hindi means, "No wedding yet," is written in beautifully precise language It is also very funny while introducing potentially sinister material. This story is about an Indian American mother's attempt to marry off her daughter. The other stories in the book continue with this theme with other ethnic groups like Korean Americans.

I really enjoyed reading this group of short stories... especially Shaadi Abhi Naahi. It was so funny and I can't believe that really happened to her! While this woman may not know what she wants yet, at least she knows what she doesn't want! I highly recommend buying this one since it is an easy and fun read.

I have read this book - they are wonderful stories with a lot of humor. All young men and women would enjoy these stories about dating. A must read - a FIVE STAR book.

Totally amusing and really fast read. I never laugh out loud and I was rolling on the floor! My favorite was Shaadi Abhi Naahi! It was wildly amusing and so true across all cultures.
