Beautifully written and even a little poetic at times, this book is arranged into essays about growing older, motherhood, and becoming a grandparent. It offers gentle advice, enjoyable and humorous personal stories, and lighthearted encouragement for those women who find themselves transitioning from motherhood to grandmother-hood. Generation G would make a unique and delightful gift--and the price is right too!

With each word and paragraph I was amazed how God gave Marty the ability to put on paper what a grandmother feels but cannot articulate in words. It was as if she read my heart. You will laugh, find encouragement, and be inspired in your grandmother role.

I was moved to read this sweet account of a mother-turned-grandmother's journey. This is the kind of story we hope to all tell our families about our grandparents. I learned so much about love and kindness and parenting, from such a savvy writer!
