The author knows the characters very well. When you're reading this book you can imagine that the lines are that being said by the characters is exactly what Eric Kripke would've had them say. Pretty hard writing lines for someone else's characters.

I am a Supernatural fan all the way! That being said, I really had fun reading "Heart of the Dragon" the book started a little slow but, that was only the first chapter. Honestly every book you read will be slow from the first chapter. I got to know the Winchester family a little better too. I was in awe at how true to the show the author really was. And how spot on he was about the appearance of Castiel was, and how his voice sounds. All in all, terrific book. A great read for a TRUE Supernatural fan!

I thouroughly enjoyed the most recent Supernatural novel. As with the previous books, it is a stand alone story, with brief references to the TV series. It is well writen and entertaining. Fans of the TV show will love it!

Enjoyed this novel. It was nice to get involved in the back ground of the family and cover three generations of hunters. Keep the novels coming! Have enjoyed every one of the books that have been written involving the Supernatural tv series.

If you enjoy the Supernatural series on TV. You will love this book. The author did a great job of capturing Sam and Dean's characters. You get a chance to learn a more about their mom, grandparents, and Bobby Singer.
