Beautiful story of soul mates

An autographed copy of this book practically fell into my hands in an Asheville bookstore (Malaprops) shortly after I had started studying Celtic spirituality, so I had to read it. Since I hadn't heard of the author, I was a bit skeptical. Dana Lyons is a gifted storyteller that managed to keep me spellbound until I finished the book.

Heart of the Druae transcends space and time and reaches for what is best in all of us. To simply classify it as a "romance novel" is to miss the profound message woven trough the fabric of the book. Our modern lives have many conveniences and benefits but the price we have paid is our disconnection to the universe and our fellow travelers. Dana Lyons shows that there is an inner light that shines within each of us and needs to be shared with the world. I bought this book and read it the same day. I cried at the end but not for the story but for the fact that it had come to the end and I desperately wanted it to go on forever. My only warning: if you decide to get this book do not to have anything planned for the evening you receive it because those plans will be cancelled.

Heart of the Druae was a book that spoke from the heart. I could not put it down once I started to read it. The Author caputered the true meaning of what it is to love so much that you were willing to sacrafice your heart for the good of the person you love. I can not wait to read more from this Author and see where she takes me next.

If you know and live The Secret, this book is for you. The writer takes you to a place that we all know we should be. I could not put the book down because I was captured by the characters their passion, and commitment. You will laugh and cry (enjoy). Kassandra
