Hello William (It's Me Dad) is one estranged father's attempt to talk to his son. This book talks about the child's family on the father's side, what transpired between the child's parents, women, growing up and more importantly growing up being black in America. In this book, Dwayne Taylor, also attempts to refute the stigmatization that men who are not seen around their children are automatically assumed to be deadbeats. The book also offers ways in which fathers who are trying to be with their children can utilize the court system effectively. Finally, the author attempts to reach out to men who are absent from their children's lives and provide encouragement regarding taking care of their children.
