Hepworth: Schools of Thought
The School of Life's, Schools of Thoughts Notebooks, inspired this series of writings.
Dr Lauri Bower's Mindful Writing Workshop on the 11th March 2021 was the more particular prompt.
This book will follow that evocative process almost moment by moment; thank you Lauri for delivering an effective route into writing.
A second trigger to this work is a week long vacation in Carbis Bay, a near neighbour to St Ives, the place where Barbara Hepworth made her name some might say.
Although I rather like the fact that the tour, around her garden and studio, promotes her as the girl from Wakefield Grammar!
The final trigger is another visit to the South-West, this time with my eldest son Andrew to meet up with his younger brother Joseph and his friend Marija.
