When Jim Game decides to call time on the unsuccessful comedy double-act, Wild and Game, his partner Tommy Wild persuades him to give it one last shot. Tommy has a new character he wants to try out, Mr Herribone, which involves him donning a grotesque sack-cloth head he discovered backstage at a run-down theatre. To Jim's amazement, with this new character on board, the duo's fortunes start to improve. Yet Tommy insists he didn't create the character of Mr Herribone, so where exactly did Mr Herribone come from? No matter. Are Jim and Tommy about to see their dreams come true? Success? Money? Fame?
