This is one of my favorites of Beverly Lewis. I especially liked it as it was a series in one book. All of her books are true to life of how the Amish live. If they are part of a series, which most are, you should read them in the order that they were published. Make sure that the ones you order are for adults, some are for very young readers. This book is for adults.

Beverly Lewis has got to be my favorite author these days. I thoroughly enjoyed this book series (which included all 3 novels in one large edition). I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves Christian fiction - and anyone who loves to read about the Amish. Excellent series - can't wait to read more!!

This is one trilogy that I couldn't get enough of! The first book is super, but the 2nd drags a little. The third, in my opinion, is the best.I highly recommend this series!

I read the first 2 books in the series while vacationing at my sisters. They were remarkable and I can't wait to get the entire set for myself so I can read the 3rd book and pass them on the my daughter and friends. Wonderful story about a very brave and very strong willed young girl who searched for her identify and kept her faith!
A 'gut series of books. Read 'em again. 'Gut (good)reading

When I thought of donating the books to my church library, I now have second thoughts. These books are worth saving in your own library. Every book kept me on the edge of my seat, and glued to my hands. I couldn't put them down. Katie (Katherine) went where her heart was, and she had a heart large enough for two societies: The Amish and her mother's legacy. Hope I see more books on the Amish, the most wonderful people on Earth. Bless those Amish folk.
