In early 2022, the Queensland Government closed schools and kindergartens across the state in response to catastrophic flooding. Along with New South Wales, the states faced flooding unseen in our lifetime. Two little girls, Tara aged six, and Allegra aged four, spent time at home, with no school or kindy, painting watercolor images of the floods and its heroes.
