I'm a huge Vampire Hunter D fan and this second book didn't disappoint. I love the drawing style and the stories really lend themselves to this format. I can't wait for the next one to be available.
Utterly beautiful!

This artist does D such beautiful justice...she captures his cold beauty perfectly while retaining his less than loveable personality. This manga was even better than the first one, it was almost poetic. It's a shame that it could not have followed the novel exactlly, but for the most part I cannot make a complaint against that. I was still very thrilled to be reading it. She did tend to make D a tad bit more emotional that he was in the book, but it worked quite well with the story. The last few pages were flawless...just the thought of them makes me want to cry. Get this manga!
