I just happened upon this book by accident, and I am thrilled that I did. When the season ended in May 2005, the Montecito had been imploded and all the characters were scattered everywhere. When the new season began, it was as if it were "real time" and six months had passed in the characters' lives as well. A lot of issues weren't really touched upon in the TV show, especially with Nessa in England. This book does a marvelous job at picking up right where the TV show left off and creates a satisfying timeline for the characters, right up to when the season began again in Fall 2005. And I would like to say "thank you" to the Las Vegas TV show producers, who incorporated a bit of this book into the season finale in May 2006 with Ed Deline casually mentioning Nessa's "disappearance".
