Is the Forces summary justice system fair on an accused? Read the author's dissertation presented as part of his Master's degree in Research [Portsmouth University, 2017]. There are many aspects which raise serious issues about the current system, but will the MoD take the opportunity to use the 2012 reviews to change the procedures? And do many servicemen feel they have been badly treated by their senior officers when they have faced a Commanding Officers hearing? And do the non-commissioned officers know how to correctly apply the administrative actions for minor offences? Or do they ride roughshod over the junior ranks?
