I bought this on a chat group recommendation and read it in one weekend. I was a bit concerned that the information was outdated (1992, I believe) but was relieved and pleasantly surprised to find that most of what I read lined up with all of the information I have been getting currently. There was very helpful information on working more efficiently, using unit studies, and I LOVE the emphasis on equal amounts of study, service and work. It combines John Taylor Gatto and Latin-Centered Curriculum with some Charlotte Mason thrown in. Very relavent to today. The stories from other hs families was also very encouraging.
