Young readers learn to look before they leap with Hoppy the Cricket, who loves to jump, but is sometimes a little careless about where he lands--like the time he jumped into a bog and almost landed on... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is not a review but a query - has this title anything in common with a"Hoppy" book published in the 1950's - in that book, I am not certain about the title, a cricket passes through a hole in each page to land on various things and in the end he lands on a cake with pink icing. Is this title a reprint of that book? In the 50's version I think the use of such a device was original - or did it have its inspiration from Victorian children's literature?
