Scoop Coop has just received new boarders. Boarders she's not too sure about. They are race horses. With all the bad stuff that surrounds race horses can she handle it? She has just a few days to work with Melancholy Baby and get her used to the starting gate. But then tragic accidents happen, and the blame is being put on Horsefeathers. Can Scoop and her friends figure out who's behind it before it gets worse? Before someone else is hurt?
I really enjoyed this book. The mystery in the story was really fun, though sad. I loved how the characters worked together, and how Scoop had to trust B.C. and the two of them connected.

In Horsefeathers' Mystery Scoop is boarding three race horses Jackson, Storm, and Melly. Scoop falls in love with Melly. Someone is trying to hurt the horses, one night Scoop finds one horse bleeding. Scoop finds her brother BC playing with a burnt stick and thinks he has been playing with matches. The end is very sad and I was surprised when I found out who was trying to hurt the horses.
