This book has a wonderful tongue in cheek attitude from its story line down to the very matter of fact style of writing. I loved the far fetched idea of a WASP conspiracy to regain control of the financial markets along with its very believable rituals and locations. Mr. Day knows his material well and tells a very suspenseful story. I can't wait for his next book.
Dripping with tension and NYC locale

I usually avoid conspiracy themed books, but this one is a definite exception. The plot starts at the highest levels of the murky world of international finance and races through the subteranean depths of the NYC subway tunnels and scenic mountain getaways. The author really knows the locale and I found myself recalling the blocks, the buildings and even the paths in Central Park that the characters walked, skulked or ran through as they proceeded from one revelation to another. The main character was realistic and very sympathetic. She made me want to take up running in the Park. Her tragic tale, from bad news to worse, with her crusty legal advisor had me turning pages from chapter one.If you like tight plots and gripping tension, this one's a must read.
