I felt that the book showed the best samples of car colors than any other book of this type that I have read. And as collectors know, this is very important when judging its value.
Hot Cars is not for beginners or the squeamish!

This book tried to cover alot of the major Die-cast cars, Matchbox, Johnny Lightings etc., but the Early Hot Wheel info was what I was most into and that was fun and I learned alot of stuff I never would have known otherwise. The beginners tips are a must for collectors expierienced and new. The variations are countless on these cars and would be impossible to list all of them, however if you collect only the 'Redline Years' of hot wheels it's a pleasure to see these cars and it's a good companion to other books you may have. Photos of rare color combo's and proto-types are cool. For the hard core Redline collectors only.

Hot Cars is a feast for the eyes. The photography is excellent, the cars pictured are rare and hard-to-find variations and the price guide is much more accurate than other books on the market. It also includes tips on collecting die-cast cars and is a good general book about die-cast. This book, combined with others on the market, will serve collectors well.
