A how-to manual for housekeeping amateurs and pros alike, How the Queen Cleans Everything is a collection of fast and ingenious tips from #1 New York Times bestselling author -- and housekeeping's... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I got this book as a gift and it got lost when I moved. I missed it so much, that I had to buy a replacement. If there's (almost) any kind of stain, this lady knows how to remove it. The only one that I can't find a "cure" for is ORANGE DRINK, UGH! Highly recommended for the cleaning challenged (as I seem to be).
Just what I expected

This book was just what I expected. This is a must for anyone who has a house. It advises you on how to get out different stains on all sorts of materials. I even found it useful to get candle wax off of my wall. I am really looking forward to when I have time to actually use it and implement her cleaning ideas. Could help organize and clean a house much more efficiently!
A must-read for anyone wanting a clean home

This book is packed with very helpful and seldom found information. I have 30+ years of experience in taking care of a home and still found this book to be a wealth of knowledge. It would be a great wedding shower or new home gift for anyone. It is very easy to navigate and has very simple solutions for everyday problems.
Very valuable reference guide.

This book does basically cover how to clean practically everything in your home. It's a very handy reference for cleaning, laundry, and outlines a year's worth of tasks that should be done at most people's homes (and often aren't).Linda Cobb's approach is down to earth, warm, friendly, and very practical. She takes a lot of the fuss out of cleaning, suggests effective alternatives to expensive, toxic cleaning products, and makes recommendations where a commercial product will suit the reader best.In addition to an encyclopedia of cleaning information, she also makes valuable suggestions as to how frequently items need to be cleaned, how to choose carpet cleaning contractors, and the like. I would suggest teaming this book with one of Don Aslett's books such as "Is There Life After Housework?" and you would have an unbeatable reference set for cleaning nearly anything around your home. That, and Linda Cobb's writing style is fun, funny and thoroughly entertaining. Good value and a good investment for your home and belongings.
Cleaning Made Simple!

Wow - Straightforward info from spot cleaning laundry to cleaning your house with basic (and less expensive) ingredients you have around the house. No more expensive cleaners! Plus a guide on how to clean everything and how often - and even advice on cleaning things you probably never thought of cleaning or wondered how to clean properly (like rust spots on your concrete driveway). For a mom with a toddler, this was a big help. Also look for Linda Cobb on the DIY channel.
