I heard the author at a special seminar that the State of Connecticut held for Dispatchers and emergency workers. That day there were people of all religons and back grounds. This book was absolutley wonderful and it helped us all in many many ways-we all came away with more insights and skills on how ti deal with all the many tyopes of people we come across every day and the ones that call that we have to assist. There was not one person that did not get something from this book. I only wish that you all had the opportunity to hear the author speak also. THis is a wonerful book.

This is an excellent read! The book identifies different personalities styles and provides feedback as to how "you" should deal with each personality based on yours. The book is filled with serveral short and useful diagnostic tests to determine each style. If your workplace is hostile and unpleasant purchase this book and everyone will benefit. It is NOT just your ordinary personality type book.

An excellent book for someone willing to take on the task of getting along with other people. Short,concise and very informative. Helps one to see why you do what you do, and how to respond to other people's behaviour, not the perceived intents and motives of the heart. Very practical, and highly recommended.

This book brings forth a simple, but powerful revelation: we are all annoying to someone! Rather than putting people into categories of what's wrong with certain people, this book helps one to see different personality types. The book then looks at how different personality types have difficulty interacting. It also looks at how differnt personalities interact well. The book discusses how to get along with other personality types based on one's own personality type. It doesn't focus on changing people's personalities, but focuses on how to work cooperatively, communicate effectively, and just get along! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to try to work on getting along with others without (pointlessly) trying to change anyone.
