Here is a practical "how-to" guide for those new to homeschooling who may be frustrated or just plain confused. Gayle Graham covers planning and organizing, teaching reading, writing, and math,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
How to Homeschool: A Practical Approach I have been homeschooling since 1996. I have an older copy of this book and still enjoy reading and re-reading it. It is like a little cheerleader reminding me and encouraging me. The Scriptures throughout this book are helpful and inspiring. I enjoy loaning this book out to new homeschool families yearly and always insist on them returning it to me so that I may bless another family. While my older copy is a little dated, Gayle's simple down home approach reminds you that you can, with the Lord Jesus' help, homeschool and run a home. I still use some of her reproducibles even with all the info available on the web. This is a great book for a new homeschool family, especially one with multiple children wondering "how will I do it all".
I'm now convinced I CAN homeschool!!

Until I read Gayle's book I was only convinced that I agreed with all of the philosophies behind home schooling. With her organizational ideas, her practical approach to teaching the three R's, and most importantly how she teaches to trust in God for results, I now feel confident that I can teach my child and teach her well!! This book has been a wonderful encouragement to me and I know I will keep it on hand for a long time and refer to it often! Thank you Gayle Graham, for you loving concern for your fellow home schoolers! Tami Michael
