Do not expect this book to be an informative textbook. It is entertaining, most likely, to someone who already has knowledge of music. I found it to be funny, but apparently this depends on who you are. I would recommend it to a music lover with a sense of humour. A cartoon of Beethoven on a motorcycle with "Appassionata" written on the side over a lightening bolt? Come on. I laughed out loud.
