Southerners will learn to get around "up Nawth", and Northerners are provided with what they need to know when visitin', vacationin', or relocatin'. Illustrated.
This is one of those books that is fun to just pick up and read bits and pieces here and there. It does not really matter where you start or where you leave off. It is written with humor, but like all good humor, it bites rather close to the truth most of the time. While this in not roll on the floor funny, it will bring a smile to your lips and a chuckle. For light reading and an interesting take on life in the south, this is a good work.
Interesting view...

This book is an interesting view of the "other side". Not only does it view Yankees from the Southerner view, but also Southerners from the Yankee view. Living in the South all my life, I'd have to say this book is frightingly true. Only thing I didn't like was how the book kept talking about a redneck beauty queen from Georgia. Otherwise, an overall good book. I recommend.
