I thought this was an excellent introduction for undergrads wanting to participate in a mock trial or moot court. As a law student, I thought it was an excellent introduction into the legal research, reasoning, drafting and oral argument components of such a competition. It even demonstrated how to synthesize case law. Impressive. But, if you are law student wanting to compete in a Trial Advocacy Honors Board this is not what you need. Everything in this book is covered in the 1L Legal Research and Writing classes. I just wish I had known that before buying it.
