Excellent Guide for Beginners

I found this to be an excellent way to learn HTML. What most people consider "filler text" I found to be in depth explanations of how and why HTML works. It is not a quick reference book, that is why there is a HTML 4 for Dummies: Quick Reference. It is also not an advanced book, but it does cover almost every aspect of HTML, the only problem being that HTML is not a very advanced language. If you want advanced info, find books on Javascript, but for the beginning HTML writer, this is an excellent rescource.
Very useful for begginers..

When I first was going to read this book, I had absolutely no idea how to use HTML. But, after reading this book I thought I knew everything! It was so informative, very easy to understand and it taught me everything that I needed to know. The examples were easy to follow and understand. The examples were expecially useful for when I had trouble understanding certain aspects...but not anymore! I would highly suggest reading this book if you are just starting out with HTML code. But, if you are already pretty experianced with HTML, this is the last thing I would suggest that you read. But overall, it was very good.

I learned so much from this book. However, I recommend reading Creating Web Pages for Dummies first because it really does the basics. But, this book will be great by itself.
