I read this book to learn more about Java script, HTML basics, and Web lingo in general. I found much more. The examples of actual Web sites that use specific interactive features are prolific and the URLs for the examples were accessible the last time I used them (3 months ago--things change rapidly on the Web, don't we all know!). The organization and formatting of the book is easy to follow and appealling visually. The book is designed for ease of access to information. Perhaps some authors who are looking for more technical details, related to troubleshooting were disappointed--but there are a lot of details nevertheless. For people just learning about Web design and those who want to extend or refresh what they know, I highly recommend this book.
