Hail the conquering hippos! Burl Ives, Robert Morley and Paul Lynde lend their voices to this phantasmagoric animated movie blending dazzling colors, eye-popping visuals and catchy tunes. Summoned to rid the harbor of sharks, the hippos of Zanzibar rise to the challenge. But once their mission's completed, the Sultan's hippocritical minister hunts them all down until only little Hugo remains. Escaping to nearby Dar es Salaam, he's hidden by the local children. But when the adults turn him in for eating their crops, his friends must find a way to save Hugo before the minister determines his fate.
