This book balances coverage of theory, research, and data in order to promote a more complete understanding of how human memory works. The book strikes a balance between historically significant findings and current research. Actual experiments, both paper and pencil and online demonstrations, are included to help students see the link between theory and data.
Excellent TextBook Covering the Broad Topic of Human Memory

Difficult? Yes. Is the brain easy to understand? No. If you are a college student, and you are complaining about the difficulty of this book, then drop out of college. Besides, it isn't that difficult. Nothing like you'd see in a computer science course. This textbook offers a balanced approach to the study of human memory. It does not present its material as facts, but rather as positions which are heavily contested by competing theories. It presents evidence for and against each model proposed. Excellent.

Excellent book, a lot of great information, though a little tough to understand sometimes for this college student. Works excellent when in combination with good lecturing on the same topics that it covers.
