Having lost her husband in a car accident, Lexi Lambeau moves to the NC beach. As a 53-year old widow and mother of two sons in the Navy, she becomes bored and goes online to meet someone "different." The author has an impressive, practical knowledge of how stuff works. Mr. Linz was able to get into the mindset of a mid-life but "not-even-close-to-done" woman and creates a strong, resourceful and smart lady who thinks out of the box.
