I Can't Sleep

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"I Can't Sleep" is Attaei's debut collection of poetry dedicated to the things and people that keep her up at night. The poems are written in occurring order, meant to demonstrate the sometimes random, consuming thoughts that come with anxiety and ADHD.

REVIEWS

"I Can't Sleep is a book in which a variety of different people from all walks of life can find themselves lost in. The poetry is thought-provoking, relatable, and well written. Even within those more specific, unique writings, Devon has a way of making the reader feel as though they have been in that moment and felt those exact same feelings."

"I loved this book I could not put it down. Sends you back to the nights you could not sleep and the haunting memories you can not erase. A book that everyone can relate to in some form or other. A must read."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Devon Attaei is a poet and novelist from Ontario, Canada. She began her poetry debut with the publication of her book, "I Can't Sleep" and continued on to write a romance novel called, "On to the Next One" shortly after.

In 2018, Attaei graduated from Sheridan College with a journalism diploma and a passion for creative writing, but no real plans to publish her work. That was until she started spilling late-night thoughts into a notepad and never looked back.

In 2021 Attaei worked with co-author, Max Wells to create their bestselling poetry collection "Temporary Forever". This book garnered attention from author, Anna Todd and was featured in the Madibaland World Literary Festival.

Most recently, Attaei published her fourth poetry collection, "It Felt Like Love", where she shares her take on what it's like to fall into the most exhilarating kind of love... the love that's found within the calm of the everyday.

To keep up with her latest work, you can visit @attaeipoetry on all social media platforms where she reads her published poems, discusses her favourite pieces of literature and hints at what she's working on next.
