She creates perfect days. In spite of her incorrigible curly hair, Lauren Crandell is a neat-freak and organizational guru, qualities that make her the perfect wedding planner. But when two weddings in one day go haywire, and hunky firefighter Nick Corona comes to the rescue -- twice -- Lauren realizes there are a few important details in her own life she hasn't been tending to since her divorce. Namely, her sex life. She lives lonely nights. Sweet and sexy Nick seems hell-bent on fanning the flames between them, and Lauren definitely feels sparks flying. But she's scrambling to plan nuptials for her most challenging client yet -- a beautiful, cunning, and certifiable Psycho Bride. With the big day rapidly approaching, a series of misunderstandings, mishaps, and mistaken identities threatens to ruin not one, but two happily ever afters. But with her career and her love life on the line, the wedding planner just might learn that you can't plan everything, least of all true love.
What a fun book! I was instantly engaged and couldn’t put it down. The main character is funny and relatable, especially when it comes to her family. I liked it so much that I went looking to see what else Cara Lockwood had written. So excited to find there’s a sequel…already ordered it!
Entertaining

Despite my perpetual irritation at grown women/leading characters who cannot stand up for themselves, this proved to a very readable, entertaining book, believable and at times hilariously funny.

A WITTY ROMANTIC COMEDY NOVEL - a must read to ease the stress while planning your own wedding. It's a book you won't want to put down. One evening, I sat down to read this book, I was so engrossed that when I looked at the clock, I saw that I had opened up the book 2 hours earlier. WOW!This book is great for anybody getting married, recently married and even for wedding planners. Lauren, the main character, encounters many hilarious situations, making for a fun read and one that you just might have finished in a couple of days.

As a wedding planner, I couldn't help but pick up this book about Lauren, a great wedding planner with serious self-esteem issues. She's funny, smart, and incredibly entertaining in this book that follows her adventures in wedding planning, including falling in love, of course. I bought this book yesterday and just finished it today--it was quite addicting! Get this book for the wedding planner or soon-to-be-married in your life. Great beach read! :)
Very funny chick-lit

This book more than made up for my disappointing experience with another chick-lit book. It revive my faith in the genre by having a realistic-thinking heroine, hilarious situations that the heroine overcomes with a certain flair, and of course the guy who truly appreciates her for the imperfect woman that she is. I look forward to reading more of her books.
Fantastic First Book!

In her witty debut, Cara Lockwood weaves a hilarous tale of wedding mahem. Lauren Crandell, the ultra organized wedding planner (who has incidentally been married and divorced before the age of thirty) strives to make that special day perfect for all her clients--until she meets the Supreme Psycho Bride intent on ruining Lauren's career. And then there's Nick Corona--the sexy firefighter with the brains to match the brawn--who seems to be a contradiction of perfect man and cheating scoundrel. An overbearing boss, a vindictive feline, mistaken identities, public humiliation, and an arson attempt all combine to make this a spectacular, outrageously funny read.
