Four color-illustrated picture books entertain young children while teaching them the fundamentals of Spanish. On each page, a line of story text is in English at the top and in Spanish at the bottom. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book for my children, who I am raising bilingually. This book is very simple, but the illustrations make the story very clear. The only improvement in my opinion would be to get rid of the English translation on each page. My reasoning for this is that if someone else reads your child the book in English, your child very well may request it in English (or, "plain," as my oldest calls it, lol) every subsequent time you pull the book out. At the back of the book, there is a glossary of the words used, which includes illustrations and pronunciation help for non-Spanish speakers.
Great fun whether you read it in English or Spanish

A delightful way to read a story in English and learn Spanish at the same time (process also works in reverse). Monkey only wants a banana and refuses all other fruit jungle animals offer him. Children and adults can identifly with this single mindedness. All ages will love the simple words, rhymes and delightful pictures.
