Prohibition became law in 1919, opening a new enterprise of speakeasies, bootlegging, moonshiner?s and running whiskey. Ada was one of very few that made it thru those 14 years, dodging the G-men and local law. The danger, close calls and never being arrested, became wealthy. In the fall of 1932 rumors of the end of Prohibition, the crew, best friend and two unlikely drivers made one last run to pick up several loads of illegal whiskey.
