If you truly want to make a 6 or 7 on your IB economics exam, then I highly recommend this book. A definite pro is that this text is oriented to match the exact syllabus IB publishes for the economics course. And at that, it does a superb job of explaining each and every concept (regardless if you are higher or standard level) in a thorough and understandable way. I only wish I had used it sooner. I had an okay econ teacher and was provided with one of most incomprehensible textbooks from which I've ever had the misfortune to learn. Given these circumstances, it's no surprise that I was shocked at how easy economics is when I switched to this study guide. Plus the things in this book are EXPECTED to be said in your IB economics exam essays (the authors are highly experted in terms of what IB wants and tests). Being that I already took the IB Economics exam, I think I can safely say that this book hands you pretty much anything and everything you need to know better than some 150 dollar text book. Best review book!
