Illuminate your story journal is a stroke of Genius!

This is a beautiful little journal! Alexandra Stoddard is quoted on the back of the journal, "Begin, Start right where you are. Consider your possibilities and find inspiration... to add more meaning and zest to your life." Then it gives a short description of the major styles and periods. Then the journal has step-by-step visual and written instructions to guide you through drawing and creating the alphabet in illuminated letters. It also provides Bible verses or quotes for each letter of the alphabet to practice on. It is a no excuse way to get started immediately in Illuminated letters. It shows how to draw the flourishes, flowers, cats, dogs, dragons, Celtic knots, and birds similar to what you would see on Illuminated Letters of the past. These are shown on paper with the dots for placement, but there are also lined pages for you to actually use as a journal for yourself.
