After Ten Years Can Two People Rediscover Lost Love? Zain was many things to Asa. Solid, firm, masculine, powerful, the god of all men and her boss. Her cousin Brent, also an employee of the company... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Illusions was a great read! The familiar New Orleans locations hooked me early on in the book, and the romance between Zain and Asa held my interest until the last page. Asa is young, but strong. She knows what she wants. Zain is stubborn, but loving. They are a perfect match!
A great introduction to Ms. Starr's work

Illusions is the first of Ms. Starr's books that I've had the pleasure of reading and I loved it. I didn't want to put it down and I felt a "connection" with Asa, Zain, and the many New Orleans locales they encountered! As some other reviewers have mentioned there were some unbelievable occurences, but t'is the nature of romance novels! I want to say it again, I loved the book and I'm sold, I think you have a new fan Pamela Leigh Starr!

Personally, I think Starr did a great job on Illusions as well as the other books that she has written. I believe that anyone who does not like her book did not read into it enough and clearly overlooked the main theme..... finding love in places that one would never imagine. I urge Starr to continue writing her books and give the audience what they want ....... another good book.
SWEET AND AMUSING.....

I enjoyed reading Illusions immensely. Asa and Zain are wonderful characters. Their relationship developed beautifully. I thought Zain's zeal to help Asa overcome her "addiction" sweet and amusing. He was determined to help her with her "problem" no matter the costs. Gotta love a man like that. I found Ms. Starr's approach to Asa's diabetes very informative and it absolutely gave the book more substance. Even though diabetes can be a serious ailment, Ms. Starr was able to bring humor into the situation through misconceptions and misunderstandings. This is a indeed one of her best books to date
