After dealing with a near traumatizing moment with his pastor down south, Mr. Wright immediately sought refuge in his studies and beliefs to overcome the betrayal of someone who he viewed as a role model at one point and time. This incident fueled the fire for Will Wright to leave the small town of Grenada, MS and pursue something special at Alcorn State University. At 18, the goal and objective was to put together a 5-year plan to own his own business upon completing graduation, but Mr. Wright didn't know at the time that without strong financial literacy, it would be an uphill battle to reach his dreams.
