Wow! Unbelievable until you see it.

This book is a fantastic journey through the human body! It has photos of a baby fetus and the blood vessels, and the insides of the lungs and whole wealth of information that is still relevant today. Although medical science has come a long way since 1986, this book is far from dated. The photo's are simply amazing rivaling the video from many TV shows dedicated to medical research. I guess this shouldn't surprise me coming from National Geographic. This book has been an excellent compliment to my childs science books over the years. The photos alone make it an excellent book to own. I've never regretted the purchase although I've owned it for many years.
