This was a GREAT book!

I really liked this book. It was the first one I read, and, if I could go back and do it again, I would read "Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's Stone" first, becuase I am reading that one now. Unfortunatley I already know what becomes of the leading lady. I was happy to find out that I could still read about Indy, even after I'd seen the movies! It seemed a little out of place, though. Most of his adventures are in warm places, but this one was set in the Artic! Brr!
Still refreshing after that bloody martin cadin

Yet another great book by Max McCoy. He recaptures the essence of Indidana Jones after it was so badly tarnished by Martin Cadins spy-novel versions of Indidan Jones. These get back to the fighting, and danger that we so love about Indy. More problems with women of course (true to life as always) and as good as ever. I am waiting anciously for the next book (and a spell checker ;-) ) Read this book its bloodycool.
Max McCoy has outdone himself this time!

This latest installment of Indy's adventures has strong characters, a tight, forward-moving plot, and humorous interludes. I loved it! I am not a die hard Indy fan, but I do love a good action and adventure novel. I can not wait to see what kind of jam McCoy puts Indy into next. McCoy has written a tour de farce book that both kids and adults alike can really enjoy. I for one really enjoyed this tale. Bring on the next Indy adventure!
Exciting Action Packed Adventure! And the Hollow Earth!
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 27 years ago
Vril, Nazis, Zeppelins, Amundsen, the Hollow Earth - this adventure packed thriller has it all! Max McCoy possesses that subtle genius for projecting the reader into the center of the adventure matrix as he handles an historically controversial subject creatively echoing Burrough's Inner Earth adventure genre series. We join Indiana as he is stalked by Nazis occultists for the coveted "Vril crystal", left in Indi's safe keeping by his friend and associate E. B. Baldwin, as we trek into the Arctic wasteland and into the deep unknown. Technically brilliant crafted descriptions, McCoy's "Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth" executes a series of perfectly timed sequences leading us to the door step of the mythical Ultima Thule. Cleverly fused in an orchestrated dialogue of dead pan one liners, Indiana and the adventuress Ulla, push their way up over the rim and through the incomprehensible opening into the Hollow Earth. There we are introduced to a very unique formula to the never dying quest for the understanding of the dynamics of the inner earth. The combination of Indiana Jones, sinister Nazis, and the Hollow Earth, creates a novel that is irresistible to the adventure and paranormal reader. - Onelight.com & The Hollow Earth
