It's the summer before college starts. Dawson is an alienated 18-year-old who has no idea what to do with his life. When he goes on a camping trip with his parents, he meets a new group of friends who may have the solution to his disillusionment and loneliness. The camping trip should be a fun and relaxing experience, but when Dawson begins fixating on a cabin visible on a nearby mountain, things start getting strange. He's not sure how, but he knows his ex-girlfriend is staying in the cabin. It doesn't help matters that Dawson's new friends are in possession of a mysterious, flying vehicle that is more powerful than a plane, yet quieter than a mouse.
